About

Photography by Marek Uliasz, photographer, scientist, paddler, racer, blogger, …

I am a studio and adventure photographer with a scientific background, specializing in photography and photo design. With 35 years of experience in developing computer models for atmospheric science and environmental research, I have combined my passion for science with professional photography. Over the past decade, I have dedicated myself to being a full-time photographer, capturing still images and video clips mostly for stock agencies.

My images are available for licensing as royalty free pictures and immediate download from several stock agencies online. However, nowadays, I can only recommend my portfolio at Adobe Stock, and perhaps Pond5 for video. I have nearly 30,000 still images and more than 1000 video clips in my stock portfolio. Additionally, selected pictures are available for print, postcards, and other visual products through Fine Art America.

If you have specific requirements or are interested in custom images and photo design, feel free to reach out to me. I often create personalized versions of my pictures based on requests from customers who have discovered my work on stock agencies.

My specialties: concepts in business, education, science, internet, health and self development. Vintage letterpress typography. Fitness and outdoor recreation, especially, kayak, canoe and SUP paddling. Healthy food. Fort Collins, Colorado and southwest. Lastly, as I am getting older, senior fitness and healthy aging are grabbing more and more of my attention.

This blog will provide you information about my recent stock photography, but also about my personal projects and what I am shooting just for fun. Feel free to explore my work and contact me for any inquiries or requests. I look forward to connecting with you and creating meaningful visual experiences.
