My stock photography portfolio includes a lot of pictures created with vintage wood and metal type printing blocks. Banners, logos, greeting cards, word abstracts, questions, inspirational and motivational quotes… Also, several isolated sets of letters and numbers.
During last two months I shot a series of images related to the coronavirus pandemic and its social and business implications. The same letterpress type set was used against colorful handmade papers – amate and huun papers from Mexico. Here is a sample of 12 images from this series.

New Normal is a term in business and economics that refers to financial conditions following the financial crisis of 2007-2008 and the aftermath of the 2008–2012 global recession. As of 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic, the phrase New Normal refers to human behavior‘s changes after this pandemic. The coronavirus pandemic is likely to change daily life for most people. This includes limiting person-to-person contact, like handshakes and hugs.
Stay sane. When you are locked in quarantine or forced to stay at home prioritize rest, sleep and exercise. Don’t watch news too much.
