The Avant GardeN event took place on April 1 in the Lory Student Center Main Ballroom on the CSU campus. I have never photographed a fashion show before. Well, I have never been to one before. So, I really didn’t know what to expect. Of course, we arrived pretty late and I didn’t have a chance to look around.
I just put my Canon EOS 40D camera (set with ISO 600) with EF 70-200 f2.8L lens on a monopod and managed to take position at the end of a catwalk. I had a view partially obstructed by some decoration tree and quite challenging light on the stage but I enjoyed the experience. I could even select a few usable pictures from 6 Gb I shot.
