They are created with vintage letterpress printing blocks. I use a variety of fonts, both wood and metal. Text is isolated on white or shot on various backgrounds. Wood printing blocks have beautiful ink patina.
Thanksgiving Day marks a beginning of traditional holiday shopping season in the United States: Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday … Most major retailers are opening extremely early and offer promotional sales on Black Friday. Then, there is Cyber Monday to shop online and enjoy e-commerce. By contrast, Small Business Saturday encourages holiday shoppers to patronize brick and mortar businesses that are small and local.
