Old Italian Greyhound

During the Thanksgiving week I was dog sitting. I had 4 dogs including two mine (2 Corgies, Newfoundland, and Italian Greyhound). So, I tried to shoot some pet portraits.

Here is Bella – the old Italian Greyhound, blind due eye cataract. A sweet dog and a real explorer. She made miles walking and running in my backyard. I have no idea how she managed to navigate among bushes and piles of broken tree branches without hurting herself.

The Italian Greyhound is the smallest of the sighthounds, but it is probably the largest among “toy” breeds.

Colorado State University Foothills Campus in Winter Scenery

Fort Collins was hit by two snowstorms in the end of October and early November of 2011. This view of CSU Foothills Campus in snow and fog was shot after the second storm from the Centennial Road near Rotary Park.

I have been paddling kayak and canoes for over 40 years. My paddling fleet includes several different boats, a large collection of paddles and tons of other gear. In turn, many pictures of paddles find their way to my stock photography portfolio: kayak and canoe paddles, recreational and racing, traditional wood and lightweight carbon fiber racing design, straight and bend shaft canoe and wing kayak paddles, isolated on white and paddles in their natural environment.
