As a photographer I love to work with paper. This goes to old times when I was doing a lot of Polaroid image and emulsion transfers on various watercolor papers. For the last 10 years or so I’ve gather a pretty large collections of art papers from different sites of the worlds: Mexico, Japan, Thailand, Nepal, India, Brazil … I use these paper as backgrounds in my photography, i.e., in flat lays. I also created a lot of abstract landscape images using papers of different colors and texture.
My recent series of images for my stock photography portfolio focus on pictures with aspect ratio 4:5 in the vertical format. They may be usable for modern digital devices, especially, that they can be easily cropped to a square format.
Abstract paper landscape
Here are just a few examples of abstract paper landscape in a vertical format:
Mind map sketches and word clouds
I am using these paper abstracts as background to create infographics in a form of mind maps, word cloud and notes. Obviously, I am working with themes I am personally familiar with or I am in a process of learning and incorporating in my lifestyle routines.
