One of my first attempts in scanography: a garlic bulb starting to grow. It looks that I am hooked to scanning 3D objects, so more similar pictures will follow.

There are many on-line galleries devoted to scanner art and several how-to articles. I would suggest to start your adventure in scanography with reading Use a flatbed scanner as a camera by Vincent de Groot and following some links from his article. The nice thing about scanography is that even a cheap flatbed scanner works just fine for this purpose.
