My gallery of healthy nutritional supplements is growing. It includes now multiple pictures of
chia seeds
brown and golden flax seeds
hemp seeds
dried Tibetan goji berries (wolfberry)
whey protein powder
pine pollen powder
psyllium husks
maca powder
And, new pictures are coming. Recently, I uploaded macro shots of some seeds and grains. Chia or flax seeds look quite interesting in larger than life-size magnification.

I recently introduced chia seeds into my diet – adding grounded seeds to sport drinks, smoothies and yogurt. It also resulted in addition of several pictures into my food ingredients photography portfolio. These pictures are available for licensing as royalty free digital downloads and as prints. Chia seeds is getting a lot of publicity lately as a super food rich in omega-3 fatty acids and other nutrients.

Food Photography for Thanksgiving Day

My attempts in food photography are quite simple – mostly food ingredients in different setups for stock. I have long series of different stuff on a tablespoon, on a wooden scoop, and, on another scoop, some backgrounds and abstract compositions, a little bit of fruits and vegetables. Nothing really sophisticated.

However, my mother is just visiting me from Poland. So, for the last few weeks I have been enjoying her home cooking. I had also a chance to experiment with a food photography. Here are three examples of resulting pictures related somewhat to Thanksgiving. Of course, Thanksgiving is an American holiday, not known in Poland, but turkey and cranberries are quite popular there, at least in my mother’s cuisine.
